Help with video

Whenever I'm playing a song that has a video in the background, it doesn't show the video, it just shows the BG picture. Anyone know how to make the video appear? I dropped the video file into the corresponding song folder but it still won't show.

well, I'm not really pro or anything... but I'll try and help.

1. go into Edit
2. go into the song you're having trouble with.
3. there should be something to the side that says when the video should start. be sure that the name of the video file is the same as what shows up on the side.
4. If there is nothing there, try pressing Esc. > Add BG change (I think that's what it's called) > insert video. I have really bad memory and can't remember what the options were called. Sorry.

I'm not completely sure about this one, but I think Stepmania only uses .avi files. (not completely sure though) you could be using the wrong type of video.

If none of those things is the problem, the only other thing I can think of is that the video itself is corrupted.

If the file is there and it's in Avi format it should be working. If not it's either in the wrong format or not named the same as the preset name.

Thats about all I got, i'm not really an expert either.

If it's only one video, stepmania SHOULD play it when the song starts. Otherwise use the song editor.
