Default How to...

For the ITG Simfiles...how can i get my computer to accept 3 Arrows/4 arrows in a row (or hold)
I Can get 2, but then its a 50% shot that the 3rd one will be accepted, and its even more doubtful when the 4th one comes along
anyone know what i can do?

I believe it's the keyboard you're using. I remember years ago I used a different keyboard than the one I have now, and it would never register hitting all 4 keys. I never found the solution, other than buying a new keyboard later on.

I'll keep this topic open for now..

You'll have to find a different set of keys that allow all 4 to be pressed at once. It depends on how the keyboard is mapped and wired really, and wether the manufacturer intended more than 2 to be pressed at once.

The solution I found is just to play in "spread" mode: one hand in the directional arrows, and the other in the WASD keys.

At first I just played one-handed and used the left hand (WASD) only when needed, then I slowly got used to it...

it's a problem with up on the keyboard. Try assigning another key thats close by as a secondary up button such as the shift key to up and use that for when you have triplets. That will solve it and you won't have to adjust playstyle all that much.

Most of your USB keyboards restrict to 2-4 in any given point and 6 maximum. Your older PS/2 and Northgate Omnikey keyboards (if anyone remembers those) would send most USB keyboards crying. They restrict it for whatever reason...probably the interface, since there's not as much power going through the USB as a AT or PS/2.

Might wanna consider getting a zboard if money ain't an option.

I don't really bother with holding down 3 keys at once. Sorry I couldn't have been more of a help...
