how can I get a manually made extra stage to work

I NEED HELP!!! I'm trying to make a specific song become extra stage but every time I hit the extra stage mark, the same old extra stage is loaded. can some one help me. I know that I have to put the extra1.crs (extra2.crs) files into the group folder.

the code that I'm trying to use is...


#COURSE:extra;
#SONG:SuperNOVA MIX/Fascination MaxX:heavy:1.5x,dark,reverse,norecover;


the version I'm using is v3.9

Are you sure "Fascination MaxX" is spelled that way on your song folder?

Did you set the game to allow Extra Stages (look under gameplay options on stepmania) at all?

Check all these things first.

Have you made a .crs file called extra1.crs with what you just provided and put it in all of your folders? That should do it.

Remove the #COURSE tag too, just needs the song.
