I'm thinking that maybe I should make a big FAQ on my VirInPro site for the SM creation process & such? *shrug* just an idea of bringing all of this type of thing, the tech problems, and the background video questions into one spot.

My new computer would handle it though ...to bad I hardly get to use it.

Here's the screencap of the .lrc file:
Every time I play the simfile with the .lrc file, it somehow displays the lyrics like so:
Until it goes into the Iyasareteru and Mitasareru parts, those are perfectly fine. O.o;; Can you tell me what's wrong with it?

The only thing I see is that I thought there wasn't supposed to be a space in between the pipe, and the lyrics.

Like:
Through the day|and through the night
Not:
Through the day | and through the night
I really don't even know if that matters, but that's the only thing I could guess.

When you get the lyrics was copied from internet to notepad?
-direct straight copy and paste?
When save it the first time... did a pop-up saying some sort of weird text you use aren't capable on ANSI encode? Something like that
Did you save it into UTF-8 Format? or regular ANSI Format?
-I think... that might be problem showing some foreign characters sometimes?
- - - -
The line break are find on "|" but it seems like at the end of each line... this like "invisible" character you can't see...
-I had that on my Red Garden 2nd Ending Simfile ("OH MY JULIET" by L.MC)
so at the end of the line if there is extra space... delete that and try playing it again...
If it shows again then... try coping the text and pasting it to new window notepad, and save it.
if a pop-up goes up then there still unknown characters can't be save on ANSI which leads to showing the those symbols, I'm guess that is.
Or Maybe...
The lines aren't separated by enter... maybe try double-spacing (using enter) like: Quote:
[0:46.17]Who wants to live forever
[0:48.42]Here in a world of shame
[0:51.09]Living under pressure
[0:54.11]Hearts are filled with pain
| Just my suggestions... ^_^

-I think... that might be problem showing some foreign characters sometimes? | Again, no clue. I should have mentioned earlier that I work on a Mac, not a PC. So I have something called TextEdit instead of Notepad. Usually, to make an .lrc file I take an old notepad .lrc file and then replace the words in the old file with the new words, and then save it under a new name. Sometimes I'll get the "This is not a .txt file, are you sure you want to use .lrc?" and then I get the three options of "Cancel", "Use .txt", or "Use .lrc". Whenever I get that, I have no problems afterward. So I'm just wondering why this is happening now. Maybe it's because I have a video running in the background?? O.o Quote:

Just my suggestions... ^_^ | I appreciate the help, Jubo. Unfortunately, I think this .lrc file just hates me and doesn't want to cooperate. I'm probably going to get rid of it after all this hassle. Nothing works. >P But thanks for all the suggestions. I appreciate it very much!

StepMania's automatic length of showing lines is far too short for most (read: all) songs out there. | It depends on StepMania Lyrical Engine...
It sometimes end short sometime longer...
But for me, that makes it shorter...
-Note: it all depends on timing skills of your sounding and hearing abilities.
- - - -
Sm 4.0 is no problem since it just stay there till end of the exact time is mention the text.
Also, it try to match syllable karaoking that is on the .lrc file.
-which what I like sm4.0 lyrical timing so far...

(i.e. 0:31.452) I'm using Cool Edit Pro, and it calculates the timing down to the .001 second, and I wanna know if I can use that in a SM file. I'm assuming no. >.<

The lyrics for Your Rain(RAGE MIX) scroll and disappear too fast with the copy I downloaded. Code: [COLOUR]0xFFFFFF
[0:10.70]You touched my body once|it burns me still softly
[0:21.10]Never forgets,|Never again will be I cry
[0:31.20]Out of my head, and I|don't know what I found
[0:41.40]Over and over,|I feel it break me down
[0:51.70]Waiting for a gentle rain|a gentle rain a gentle you
[1:01.70]On the sidewalk of the city|are my screams just a wisper
[1:06.70]Busy people going nowhere|see me soak in the rain
[1:11.90]No compassion nothing matters|my resistance is waining
[1:16.90]Like a flower in the basement|waiting for a lonely death
[1:26.60] I tried deleting the timestamp at the end, but that didn't seem to change a thing (It doesn't seem to serve a purpose, anyways...).
What can I do so the lyrics do not scroll so quickly? Would adding hyphens help? Or maybe timestamps on blank lines after each line? Maybe remove the multilines?
Using SM3.9
