Default How do i Map Buttons and Controls for Stepmania?

Ok i have this Logitech Dual Analog controller and i wanna use t with stepmania, but i have to map the controller and the buttons and stuff. How do i do that? When i go to map controller i dont understand how to configure it.someone please help.

1) Plug in the controller
2)Start Stepmania
3)Go into optiong and go to config key/joy mapping
4)Go to a blank (--------) for the command you want to configure, and press enter. Then, press the button on the controller. Do this for every command.

For example, if you want to program Left, go to a blank (----------) next to Left, and press enter. Then press left on the controller. Hope this helps.
