Default How to generate steps with my own mp3

Hi everyone...i just got stepmania and starting to get familiar with it. But i have a big problem...i dont know how to autogenerate steps from my mp3 songs. I searched everywhere but nobody seems to be able to do it or at least explain it really well.

If there is someone who can tell me in details how to do it, i would be grateful. By the way, i already have a bpm analyzer (MixMeister BPM Analyzer) ,....i can get the bpm but i dont know what to do next. It is supposed to be possible for stepmania to generate steps for me ......thank you in advance

Look for dancing monkeys or something like that. Looked for it once, never found anything though.

Main Page - Dancing Monkeys

Although, the steps it generates aren't very good, if you ask me.

you're better off learning basic music theory and just making steps yourself. If you really wanna make something somewhat autogen'd you can always just keep hitting a single directional in the step editor and keep changing it to shuffle mode.

Use your own creativity and make steps yourself.

Also, next time, use polls properly.

Yeah, I can't recall ever playing a good autogenerated song.
