k, serious question.

in the step that involves splicing the wire for the pads, do you have to undo that (ie remove the splice) in order for the pads to work for the regular DDR 573 again, or will it still function okay with the wire modification in place?

Alright, I've been researching about this for a while, but since this thread right here is the single largest discussion I've ever seen about SMCabinets, then it will be appropriate to ask here.

I am contemplating about purchasing a DDR Solo Machine, used but in good condition. I believe it is a Solo 2000. I can also find a Solo 4th Mix if that provides any more ease to the project. However, I have heard from people (Crono) that every step in converting a SoloCab to SM is different that converting a DDRCab to SM.

If someone has any time and experience in this, can you right a brief (or, if you decide to show me alot of love, a long-) description of the steps involved into converting a SoloCab into SM.

I do have a Generic PC that will be running OpenITG Builds of SM 3.95, and the rest is unpurchased. If I do decide to invest in this, I will be re-modelling the pad to make the result a higher-sensetivity pad, according from a source who has done a similar project.

All that I really need to know is how to configure all of this. The Audio/Video from the PC, and then the pads to the PC.

Thank You in advance!
