I Can't Get The Unlock Screen!!!

I am using Takyua's DDR Extreme VSX theme and I turn Unlock Mode, but I never see the unlock screen. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Do you accually have songs locked?

If you are using Stepmania 3.95, its within the metrics.ini in the theme
If you are using Stepmania 3.9 / 4.0, its witin the Unlocks.dat file in the Data folder

all the information for unlock controls are in the unlocks.dat. this file can be found in the /Data directory of your stepmania build

I thought SM 4.0 uses the Metrics file for locking songs. Chris told me that a couple of weeks ago. If you want I could put down the unlock details once SM 4.0 gets a beta.

Chris is partially right, you can use the metrics to control the unlocks, but let me riddle you this: how would you go about locking them in the first place? hmm? unlocks.dat takes care of that in this manner:

#UNLOCK:SongDir/SongName;

or

#UNLOCK:CourseName;

just don't specify anything at all so it's just locked and let the metrics take care of it from there, but if you do it that way, you have to specify the unlock by its cache number and not it's title by unlock method which is weird.

Also if the displaying screen for unlocks isn't showing up, make sure that somewhere in the metrics you see:

NextScreen=ScreenUnlocks
