You can try if you have a linux, and a game trnsfer/disc copy protocal on your computer. But Konami's ahead of us, we learn what they learned like 4 years ago by ourselves if you get what I mean. | |

Nyan... I am curious to see Sora dance.
So... I'm looking foward, if someone can provide us the fans, that is.
I would't mind seeing other dancable characters that ain't from DDR. XD

Oh boy. Maybe once the characters can get better looking, I'll take interest in making my own. But for now, the models are way to blocky to do anything but amusing people.
Although, if it did get fairly good looking, and we ewre somehow able to easily alter the animations, I'd like to see some Azumanga Daioh dancing action. | |

3D Ripper DX allows one to take a complete instance of a dx9 application.
One could theoretically throw this in 3D Studio Max, crop everything but the character, and then export it into a Milkshape-friendly format, from where it could be adjusted, then exported, then adjusted again, then tweaked to work (properly) in StepMania.
Most emulators use DX9, so if it can be emulated, it can probably be ripped as well, but don't expect the exact same animations...

Well, it's not Naruto or Sora, but I suddenly found a Cloud character...

Look in the menu until you see with a link that says "StepMania Add-Ons".
And he's nice and perfect (and no whiteskin.. .w00t!). Looks like he came from the FFVII game and dance right though Step. XD I found it funny. | |

Sorry about his lame pose. (And my little brohter said that he (and some ohter male characters) dances like a girl. XD LIKE I DON'T CARE! XD)
You know the idea how he looks like? (THe FFVII Battle verson of Cloud.)

P.P.S. I would be REALLY REALLY happy if I can play with a Pop'n character. :3
