Also Im using a softpad (one with the hard foam insert). Do you think it will generate any noise?

got the same thing going on where i live, only thing that annoys my neighbors is if the music is too loud or my bass is too high, etc.

When I played in my room, which was on a cement floor, it didn't make any noise. No one even noticed when I was playing. But when we moved into our two story apartment the walls rattled, my dresser and even my 50 inch TV shook, and it sounded like the floor was caving in. Trust me. As long as you play on the first floor you won't hear a thing. If you play on anything else prepare for an earthquake.

I'm moving to a new place shortly, and I'm probably going to be renting (at least for the first year). I play home Pop'n Music, IIDX, GF/DM and KBM, and I'm hoping to get metal pads for DDR and/or PIU now that my balance allows me to play again.
Is there anything I should consider when selecting an apartment/townhouse/house? (Other than the issue already discussed in this thread - ground floor vs. 2nd/3rd floor.)
What problems have you fellow renters run into when playing your Bemani?
And finally, any communities in the Bel-Red, WA area that you can recommend?
