Metal Pads + Apartments = Good?

Ehhhh, okay. But it's too late now: the thread has been bumped and the question stands.

I may be able to rent a home or condo where I won't be sharing a building with anyone else. But assuming that DOESN'T happen, is there anything I can do to make it feasible for me to play DDR/ITG/PIU? Or at least to ensure that I get to play PNM and IIDX undisrupted?

My dad's apartment is over 3 garages, and we never get any trouble. Unless of course you're overweight/pro enough to set off car alarms.
