Modifiying Stepmania To Your Liking (Add Songs, Add Speedmods) - Page 10

I have a question. In SM I can sort songs by easy, medium, or hard meter. Is there a way I can edit something so there is an "expert" or "oni" sort?

how do I add speed mods to the latest version of SM 4, a file would be great I just cant get it to work.

ive done whats in the first post, this isnt my first time modding stepmania, it dosent work in the latest version of SM 4

Oh shoot, well I thought I had the latest version. I DLed it about a month ago, I thought it was. Just incase, I uploaded my "defualt" theme folder with the necessary changes to add x2.5 speed. I also recently added an "Expert Sort" in the sort options, that's why that one graphic is in there. You should be bale to just copy the theme over yours and it will overwrite the 2 files (metrics and .EN).

If that works, I'd be more than glad to add/take away whatever speed mods you want, and re-upload it. Or you could send me your metrics and .en files

Oh sorry, I have a pretty recent version but I guess not the newest. Well just in case I uploaded my files that I have added x2.5 scroll to. I've also added and "Expert" sort option, that's what the one graphic is for. Try replacing yours with this and see if x2.5 shows up, if it does I'd be more than willing to add/take away any speed mods you want and reupload it. That or you could send me your two files (metrics and .EN) and I could edit them to your likings.

Is there any way of adding a commandline in the shortcut so SM so that it automatically connects to SMO everytime i start it? I have 3.95.

also: where do i get those cool banners everyone has in their sigs with SMO stats?

also: how do I change to keyboard so that tt becomes suitable form me (swedish setup, that is).

I made some announcer files for stepmania and the are all .wav files but only some of them work. PLZ HELP!!!!

I've tried and tried to edit the metrics and it's just not working. I'm using Stepmania 4. I keep getting an error that says "col, 12 has no name".

Here's what's from my metrics:

Change the bolded to 12, that's the only problem I see here, unless you cut it off at 12.
