Modifiying Stepmania To Your Liking (Add Songs, Add Speedmods)

Umm, hey I made a simfile, and I wanna' add a background image. I have an image I wish to use. Anyone know how I would put it in the file of the song to make it the background image?

Ok, i noticed that inSertman's gargoyle video the marvelous barely moves, how would one do something like that?

I have the 3.9 version, and I know how to put songs onto the program. But what I dont know is where I can get songs from everyday bands, like Three Days Grace, and My Chemical Romance. Where can I find sites that allow me to put songs like that onto the program?

just try fussing around with those lines to see if you can get it (I don't know how to do it)

change the bolded statements to "zoom,1"

You tried adding another speed mod and screwed it up. Go to the Speed Mods section of the theme metrics.ini and take a look at the 6th speed mod line. Also, make sure you have it set to have the right amount of speed mods set (i.e., 5 speed mods when you have 6 coded)

Try buying the CD or use P2P. I don't suggest LimeWire as everyone would because it's like downloading free Spyware.

In the Stepmania.ini, also make sure to change "GradeTier01IsAllPerfect=1" to =0

an error has occured.....


The folder 'Songs/Harry Potter's Prologue (Speed SFX Version)' contains music files.

This means that you have a music outside of a song folder.
All song folders must reside in a group folder. For example, 'Songs/DDR 4th Mix/B4U'.

I saw my friends Copy of stepmania 3.9 had an ITG2 Theme and Percent scoring, however when i downloaded an ITG2 theme i still had the Default Stepmania scoring, can i add this Percent Scoring in somehow?

Is there anyway to change the orders that folders appear on series sort (Ex: having them appear DDR 1st-DDR SuperNOVA then Beatmania, IIDX, BM III etc etc), and is there a way to change the color of the folders themselves (like how DDREX has it, Green for DDREX songs, Blue for 1st-Max 2 and so on)?
