Anyway, does anyone have any info on this? I remember it came out awhile ago but no one posted the songlist or any shots, so I didn't know if it would be worth it.

Like I don't even understand what it means, mostly because it was not a coherent sentence.
(Yeah, I thought hardware problems had pushed the release date, but apparently not :3 Sweet!)

Total Tokens: 743.07 Donate Tokens | A few pros & cons Pros:
*The Solo Single style arrow alignment is always a plus
*Well steped charts
*WORKING unlock system
*A few new mods
*Lots and lots of music
Cons:
*Even the hardest files are still a little easy
*Most of the system options aren't there
*Noteskins were a little bland in my opinion
*Some of the music sounds the same in some of the other songs
Er...?
*No Health bar...?
*Hardest difficulty named Renard...?
Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. More than worth your time. Besides, the more you play, the more songs you'll unlock

Professionally, it has a ton of flaws.
Namely the design, the way it was released, the gameplay, lot's of noticable things that Cykon pointed out..
The music quality was the biggest thing. Yes, it's freeware.. but you know if you're making a product that's free, that's only to make people want it more really. It's not to make the product look better, because well.. the product is what it is. If you had to pay for it, it wouldn't really be worth it now would it? TRUE freeware I think.. is stuff like GIMP, stuff like Daemon Tools, things like that. These are great programs made free of use, that I guarantee could make money if put out for a fee. (Instant messengers don't count.. due to competition really)
Anyways, I think MGD has potential to be a fun game.. but it really focuses on the fact that it's freeware.. which, when you look at it, it isn't all that much. As well, while it's becoming more and more popular to get a DDR mat that connects to your computer, most people still only have pads that connect to a PS2. So, with that said, even though it's a "dancing" game, I guarantee 90% of the people playing it didn't play with the proper controller.

I wish I could just get some of the songs off there, cuz there were a couple amazing ones, but overall, i think it sucked.

People say you unlock more as you play, but I can't tell which songs I've beaten because it doesn't tell you. How many songs do you need to complete to get another song? Also, does it count as playing new songs when you play the same song on an easier setting?
The game could be more enjoyable if I understood these things.
Thanks. | |
