Need Simfile Help

Hi, new here, awesome site, need help

1. How do u mix songs? (30 secs of one, 30 secs of another)
2. how do you put in pictures (also how to put in group of pictures like the original DDR Megamixes)
3.how to do a chaos (jump, stop, then resume)
and finally
4.how would you rate the difficulty of a song?

You need a music editing program that can edit more than one music file.

Go into your .sm file and enter the picture files (with their file extensions) in the Background and Banner tags.

Answer to your 3rd and 4th question is to not worry about it. When you are new to simfile creation take it slow. Don't try to do everything at once. Instead find extremely good simfiles and try to see how well you can recreate those files. You'll learn more about how a simfile and the editor works and then you will be ready for more original ideas. Failing this you'll just wind up with messy simfiles that you have to take a back to basics approach anyways.
