Total Tokens: 29.15 Donate Tokens | Negative BPMs? I just got this new song, Tsuhsuixamush, and am really confused. The song starts out normally, something kinda like Pandemonium, but halfway through the song, it starts getting pretty odd. I just stared in awe as steps turned into streams of mines and vise versa.
To see what was going on I went into the step editor and saw a BPM of -77.5, causing the stepchart to skip a few notes. I'm wondering, what exactly do negative BPM's do?
[sorry if this question was already asked, but i searched around but found nothing on this]

[sorry if this question was already asked, but i searched around but found nothing on this] | Oh you mean Tsupseudogamush, that was one of the files on www.stepmania.com. I liked that file a lot, and wanted to do one like that one day, but it's just too confusing! The end of Challeng is a tricky one too, where you see a normal freeze arrow turn into endless mines, and going at 600BPM it's hard not to die :P

A negative BPM causes sm to skip all the arrows until a positive BPM is given.

I think negative BPM actually causes SM to 'warp' you forward from the point at which it becomes negative past the point at which the BPM becomes positive again by a certain amount (I think twice as many beats as you spend in negative BPM).
