Default Ok, I skimmed through two pages and still have a question...

I recently bought a semi-cheap Vista laptop for school and tried to install stepmania on it. I can't figure out how to disable the 'start' button on the keyboard, where it brings up the start menu (BIG problem for someone who plays spread with big hands - I keep hitting the start button by accident, making my game minimize during the song).

On my desktop, I have a menu in keyboard options to turn it off, but in Vista, there is no such menu.

Another difference is I use a logitech keyboard for laptop and microsoft keyboard for desktop...

Doesn't really make sense. :|

that specific key is hard coded into the executable and cannot be disabled, you can set multiples of it but you can't completely disable it.

Actually, theres a way to map keys using the registry. I dont know how its done, Anthony once gave me a program that does it. If you use that, you can map it to something harmless.

I found what Katze means, but it's easier done (with using .reg files, that modify the registry directly):

HERE

If you disable enter though, remember you need to set a new one beforehand otherwise it'll be kinda useless

Also, you could remap your other keys so you'll have less of a chance of hitting it.
