ok so im playing stepmania on my laptop, but like some other keyboards, this one will only recognize two inputs at one single time, which is to say i cant do a left, right freeze arrow, and press up and down at to same time while the freeze arrow is being held. is there any type of fix or something that could enable me to be able to press all the buttons at once just incase i have an up,down,left,right freeze arrow coming up. thanks to any wizards out there.

Ah, you have the same problem I do. =P I have two suggestions.

1. Find an old keyboard. And when I say old, I mean like- 90s old. None of the cheap new stuff. Then find a way to connect that keyboard to your laptop.
2. Do what I do- put the options to SM on "NO HANDS". Sure, it's frowned upon, but I hate hands anyway. =P

See if your laptop will allow you to hit four buttons at the same time if you space the buttons out so that two are on one side of the keyboard, and the other two are at the other side. It's not guaranteed to work, though. It worked for my desktop board (Saitek Eclipse II), but not on my laptop.

Now, if you're playing spread (which is what this essentially is) already, then I'm not sure of any fixes... my idea above only works if you play one-handed (which I do... I did the fix above by mirroring the keys to the other side of the keyboard, as above, and only play spread on charts with hands).

i had the same problem but when i started to play spread it let me press 4 letter keys at once

or numpad keys usually work.
