Default Preferred rating/difficulty system?

What difficulty rating system to you prefer for Stepmania songs? Which system do you use now for your own simfiles? I use Extended ITG and I've used Extended DDR X. I prefer Extended ITG.

Traditional DDR(1 to 10): The system used by DDR before DDR X. 1 is an easy beginner song, 10 is songs like max 300, no ratings above 10.

ITG(1 to 13): Like Traditional DDR, but goes to 13 instead to indicate harder songs. No ratings above 13.

Extended ITG: Like ITG, but allows ratings above 13 for very difficult songs.

DDR X(1 to 20): The new rating scale used in DDR X that goes from 1 to 20. Max 300 is a 15 here.

Extended DDR X: Like DDR X, but allows ratings over 20 for very difficult songs.

Mungyodance(1 to 100+): Basically Extended ITG times 10, an ITG 10 would be a 100. Allows for more precise ratings.

Old Keyboard Scale: Before ITG, 11s and 12s were difficult keyboard songs harder than ITG 11s and 12s.

Other Scales: Pump It Up(1 to 23), IIDX(1 to 12), your own scale that you made up, etc.

Even though I'm used to the traditional DDR scale (1-10), I prefer the DDR X scale (1-20).
I use the traditional DDR scale right now for my simfiles, but maybe I'm going to change to the DDR X scale soon.

I'm old school. I suppose I still use the old keyboard scale.

DDR X, but possibly extended if a song's super-hard.

Game Database - DDR & DS - Zenius -I- vanisher.com -5th style- II

The full list of songs in DDR X AC currently known (including old songs), with all of their difficulty ratings.

EDIT: I'm using ITG scale for my simfiles (haven't made something hard enough for extended), but I prefer DDR X scale since it's more accurate for me to say I'm at the level of 14/20 (having beaten 2 15s, which may or may not have been considered a 9/10 with how SN2 ratings were going) than saying I was at 9/10s.

For me it's a trade-off between Traditional DDR and Extended ITG. I think I used DDR in most of my older sims, but now I use Ext. ITG for anything that should be above a 10.

It really depends as far as what rating system I'd go with. The traditional 1-10 is for the most part what I would go with, but on occasions.. you get those charts that are retarded and require a higher rating. Pump's 1-23 just doesn't seem right so for the retard-esque steps I'd have to go with DDRX 1-20.

If konami would fix Arrabbiata's heavy rating, all would be fine. And bag's rating. They need to be 14's. And Shades of Grey. Besides those, love 1-20!

I use extended ITG. StepMania 3.9 and 4.0 have lots of hardcoded behavior that wants everything to be in a DDR-type scale. Really, I think of the ITG scale and extensions of it as extended DDR.

Arrabbiata and bag are fine as they are right now. bag is considerably easier than it looks if you just use a speed mod, and the only way I can think of that someone wouldn't think of Arabbiata as a 15 is if they have never played the song on a pad.
Shades of Gray could probably be a 10, but it isn't too bad as an 11.

This. Until StepMania 4.9 comes out and fully supports the 1-20 system, I'll stick with 1-10 for now. And I'm still acclimating to the new system.
