so a PSP with Linux... Why would we want to hack our PSPS's just for that. I am not trying to be mean, but if you are really going to waste your timne on that, i think its kind of pointless. it would deffinitly be a challenge to play, and I can see so more flaws just thinking about it in my head (songs, themes, and stuff like that).

Something to look forward into, just not now though.

It's part of the very popular PSP home brew community. It attracts people who like to mess with and tinker with their devices. Most programs run off older PSP firmware and the community has TONS of people creating programs to downgrade new PSPs. The last downgrader I heard of bricked 2 or 3 PSPs before they got a working downgrader.

its kind of hard to hack a PSP, there are no linux out for it, so your going to eventualy pay more into it, just to get the game running. Not only that, but the game alone cant fit on the memory card given. You would at least need a 1 Gig. So you will eventualy pay more then you were hoping for in the end.

Or a PSP with 2.71 SE-B" custom firmware.

I have been playing this since October last year and I have to say that the program is very professional looking and it plays like any other DDR simulator.

Hacking the PSP is dead easy - you need custom firmware installed, then you are free to play all the hombrew plus your regular PSP games. It has cost me nothing other than a slightly larger memory card.

The best thing about PSPRevolution is that it will play all stepmania .SM and Dance with Intensity .DWI files and I am sure I don't need to tell you, but there is a fir back catalogue on this very site.

Highly recommended.
