Marketplace Rating: 3 | SM song editor Stepmania 4.0 keeps crashing on me while I'm making simfiles, so I was wondering if there were any other ways that I can make simfiles without being on Stepmania? I hope you understand what I mean!
And please don't say "GET 3.9" as that just makes BSODs appear everytime I load it.

How does the Blue Screens of Death affect you in 3.9?

How does the Blue Screens of Death affect you in 3.9? | I can play 3.9 as long as I want. If I switch to a windowed screen, play with a theme that isn't Default, minimize the screen or click anything, it's game over. BSOD. So that's why I've been using 4.0 lately.

Also, I would have no idea where to update drivers or even to check the ones I already have!

Seriously, check your Windows installation, there IS something wrong with it.

I think my PC, or Stepmania, needs an upgrade!

Marketplace Rating: 0 | wait a second, how many songs do you have in your Stepmania?
if there are OMGTHOUSANDSOFSONGS, I suggest using a separate installation of Stepmania dedicated for stepchart making (like I do)

It was going really well - no freezes, not even lagging. I thought it had worked because I was able to create Beginner to Difficult steps for it, completing the simfile. I then went on to sim Challenge steps to Black Parade and it just died the same way as before.
I think it DOES last longer now though.
