Stage won't end

hey. there are a lot of great simfiles here but some songs are too long for my taste. so i cropped a song down to about 1:45 min and did a bit of re-stepping. However, the stage does not end when the song is over. Instead it ends at the original, uncropped song length, even though there are no steps.

Does anyone know how i can fix this to make the stage end when the song is over?

Check the other difficulties if it ends longer than the steps you made.

If not, Edit the song and choose "Reload from Disk"

Sometimes you have to delete the .sm file and leave the DWI file in the folder before it'll work properly upon reloading. Actually, I do that every time. But be very, very careful if you're making an ITG-style file because the DWI file will not support certain things like mines and other stuff that wasn't around when the last version of DWI (Dance With Intensity) was released.
