Basically, I'm curious about everything in it. Was it based on the StepMania 3.9 source, or the StepMania 4 source? Will loading time for the song wheel be closer to SM3.9 (short) or SM4 (insanely long)? I already see that it supports widescreen (awesome) and know that it works with rolls.
Beta60 always gives me the least shit. Also you shouldn't be experiencing error messages if they don't stop the game from playing (fullscreen mode).
I use window mode... it always says there are duplicate elements, or missing elements, basically. And isn't Beta60 a theme, not a noteskin? I'm talking about NoteSkin problems... I got Groove 2.4 to work fine with my StepMania 3.95 (ironically the only element missing/duplicate message happens when you choose to exit).
think anyone could tell me where to get 3.95? i mean it sounds tempting to upgrade to from that one theme. i just need to know if the mods work or not.. i mean in sm4 i tried to run mods with the nomral noteskins and it would crash for no reason.
Of course your 3.9 noteskins caused 4.0 to crash. The coding for the noteskins was completely changed (several times) in 4.0. Noteskins that work in 3.9 will work in 3.95, but not necessarily vice versa.
no no. someone made note skins to put the classic ones that was in the first few beta of sm4 in the newer verison. and when you place mods in the songs elither it would carsh or the mod steps like skippy. will appear as if it was under sudden.

StepMania 3.95 is based on the 3.9 code and loads quickly like 3.9.

Groove 2.2 is nice, you can find it for independant download here, or you can download it from us as the VIP Groove 2.2 Kit which includes appropriate 3D 3.95 NoteSkins made by me.

NoteSkins that work in 3.95 which actually contain 3.95 elements such as 3D graphic or rolls will absolulely not work at all in 3.9 and will appear as whatever the default noteskin is on 3.9.
