Stepmania Noteskin problem??

I've been playing a couple stepfiles that have arrows that I can't hit. If I try to hit them at a certain timing, then the game causes an error and crashes. My friend explained this to me once but that was over a year ago and I've since forgotten... it's because of some ITG note type that you have to keep pressing.

Anyone know what I'm talking about/any way to fix this?

Sounds like you are talking about rolls, which is only available in stepmania 3.95 and 4.0

Your sim is corrupted. Downloading it again should fix the problem. It could also be a roll like Nefluw said. If you have 3.9 you should update to 3.95 or 4.0.

NFiniteCombo, don't act like you're sure of the solution to the problem. Nefluw's answer is enough so far. Let the threadstarter decide to use his suggestion before saying that the .sm file is corrupted.

Install it over your 3.9, and you'll have roll support, among other things.
