Stepmania song to train fingers

I'm actually very good at Stepmania with two hands; but I wanted to become a better guitarrist. I have a good rythm at alternate picking with right hand because I played this game; but my left hand's fingers are pretty slow (I can do about 300 taps per minute); so I'm searching a beginner song pack with songs at several tempos (I want to train 160 or more BPM blue notes; or 80 BPM yellow notes and so. Rhapsody's 180 BPM yellow notes are too hard for my left hand).

If you know about packs like that, post me please!

All I can tell you is to find the original DDR songs...they are the best for varying BPM styles...some sites mirror them, other's you have to find each indivdual song yourself...Zenius i vanisher is the best place to find official Simfiles...but you have to go strictly song by song there...

i used the R21 Dance Pack to train myself playing index, worked quite well to be honest after 2 months.

but i agree with the previous posts above that the DDR 1-8 packs are good for practice.

Yeah, I found some very good simfiles to train fingers, like an Daft Punk's "Aerodynamic" that is useful to train licks. I remembered to change the rate of a song when I tried to play a slow one (Carnival Night Zone) at 1.2X, it was more fun.

Try Cosmic Popes Cosmic Apocalypse pack.
It's got lots of songs each one at least 4 minutes - 8 minutes each song and hella fucking hard to do also, has a few Dragon Force songs on it just to pint that out..... It is a good pack to train your fingers too.

playing stepmania will help your guitar finger skill very marginally. why don't you just practice on the guitar instead.

ok, how about rhapsody's emerald sword :3 ok in all seriousness you're gonna want to follow necros' advice. Yeah, it will speed your fingers up, but not by much; really you'd be much better off playing real guitar or training yourself to 1 hand IIDX with your lefty.

However, if you still wanna try it you're going to want stuff with massive stream (by your taste in music, I'm going to assume you wanna play like John Petrucci)
