Marketplace Rating: 0 | stepmania online has been having issues recently as they have just moved everything over from an old server to a new one. I just tried to make a new account though and everything seemed to be working fine. I didnt actually get to use the activation code though since I provided a fake email account. If youre still having problems you should probably try email one of the site admins, since its probably something they forgot to configure when moving to the new server.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | heheh Hi, I aswell am not sure if Im on the right thread but I have a problem with my stepmania 3.9 program.
I have Japanese font installed on my windows XP so I can type and read Japanese.
when I download files created by other people, it shows the Japanese on my program fine. Although when I type Japanese for my songs it shows up on the program folder fine but when I start my program and choose to pick a song these squares and other signs are displayed.
Some pictures of what I'm talking about. Parts highlighted in red is what I'm trying to explain. This is a file made by POT. As you can see theres a whole list of files with Japanese text that are displayed with no problem
And this is made by me | |

Go into options/settings, then Coin Options, then turn Event Mode on
(BTW, you might have noticed that the only songs that were vanishing were the ones marked L for long version? That means that, when using rounds, they require two whole rounds to play.)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | This is weird. My stepmania crashes on certain occasions. The cause is an 'access violation' and it's really weird that it happens in the middle of a song, or sometimes before the song starts. It usually crashes when a RandomMovie shows up. It's weird. Here's the crash info: Quote:

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Oh well, video problems.
I use the CyberiaStyle 3.5 theme, and when I sync a simfile's video via the StepMania editor, everything seems right.
When I play it on CyberiaStyle, it's on sync. However, when I play the simfile on other theme (default, pop*candy, XXMiX, etc.) the video goes offsync.
At first I thought that the problem were because I didn't put the video on the first measure, but even after trying that, I couldn't get it on sync. Heck, I even tried with negative values on #BGCHANGES tag, but nothing happens.
Any idea on why this happens? And is there a solution?
Thanks beforehand.
Edit: it seems that the problem is with just some videos. Tried changing the resolution, aspect ratio and the codec, but the same thing happens.
