Syncing Dance pads

Hey there kumaru here with a quick question

i just got a Beat pad for xbox 360.
i have the plugin for use on pc
but when i use it on stepmania it won't register hits.

Is there a way to fix this and make sure it can register my steps and get them right?

If you're using Stepmania 4.0, you just have to use the adjust sync "utility" that's in the options.

ive tried both options and it still won't work. im about 2 steps away from blowing this POS up!

why not manually sync it by adjusting the input offset? you can find those configurations in the stepmania.ini (unless of course in 4.0 they moved it to somewhere else)
