Ultimate mario simfile pack Project

I am thinking about putting together a new simfile pack that is just from mario games; mostly (Super mario 64, Super Mario rpg, and super Mario World.)I am planning on make most of them. I have a few questions: Can I take existing mario simfiles other people made and put theme into this pack as long as lng as i keep there name on the auther. If not would someone please tell me. I don't want to break any rules or anything. And if anyone would like to participate, that would be great.

Actually, I was thinking about it, and I thought it would be better to a video game megapack.

Please give me feedback on the files i have finished so far.

I think you would/should contact the original authors of the simfiles for use. That's to be on the safe side, plus they won't consider you a d-bag.

Some people put out mega packs, with works of multiple people. I doubt that they contact every single person they put in that megapack, but they always do give credit. Maybe in the sub name put who wrote the steps or create a read me file.

but i would still suggest you contact them if possible.
Ill check your sims out when i get a chance
