usb mat probs on pc

im having problems with a usb dancemat on stepmania on my pc when i edit the joy mappings ....

.....the down key does not respond

if anyone can help me i will be highly appreciated

What Kind of Pad is it?

Cobalt Flux? Red Octane? Blue Shark? Nexen?

Only think i know how to fix is the cobalt flux =P

But im sure you can find manuals on the google site

my pad is orianally for dancing stage ps3 but it works fine on my computer its a pIII rockdance one you know that one

Solution: Throw It away, Get 300 Bucks, Buy a Cobalt Flux xD, A CF is the greatest investment Ive ever put my money into =P

cobalts are awful. i still don't understand how anyone likes them. whether or not they're good, they're also not worth $300 at all and don't have native pc support (or any ps3 support afaik) like this guy wants.

anyway, try plugging the pad into another pc or ps3 and see if the down arrow responds then. if so, it's your computer's problem. if not, hope it's under warranty and see if you can trade it in to the manufacturer for a new one.
