Now, after downloading both SSRMAX and BMDX and trying to run them both but failed, I have no clue what to do.
I read the Readme.txt file in the SSRMAX and did what it said. Didn't work with Windows 98/ME, or 2000. I opened up the other SSRMAX thing it had with the configuration and whatever, and hit on "Create cache using registered folders and settings above" because I heard you couldn't play without... uh, something to do with the cache, but it didn't work either. So, I open up the SSRMAXsort thing, and a screen pops up saying "Caching Rate" at the top and "Complete Cache" at the bottom, and underneath it it says "Total". There's a button that says "Make cache". I hit it, but it gives me some type of message and then it disappears.
My questions is, what EXACTLY do I have to do to get these two simulators running? Do I need to have songs on it or something?
I've read the walk through on the website, but that seems to be helpless.
Oh, when I try to open BMDX, a box opens up that says "Please click bootbox" I do, but nothing happens. It briefly display a path, and then disappears.
Help would also be appreciated on how/where to change/get skins and songs.
