Easy way to detect USKOC?

I was one of the few who was able to get a US bemani controller working with relative ease. I just had to run Xpadder and have it detect my buttons.

However, after restarting my comp or a long time of not playing with it in general, none of the buttons get detected. I obviously try running Xpadder, unplug, replug, etc etc, and nothing seems to work. In the past, just random and frustrating repetitions of unplugging, replugging, button mashing, and restarting would eventually being it back, but I want a non-hassling way to make it detectable...

Anyone?

If that's a simulator, I use Bepachi Music.

And also, that's the first thing I do, which is when I realize my pad isn't being detected and...etc

Yeah it's a simulator.

It's called Endless Music and is the best once till LR2 comes out.

Stop using bullshit and maybe that'll solve your problems.

It'd be great if computers worked in a way that if the simulator and not the computer itself could detect the pad, I could play but...

No matter what "bs" I use, buddy, if my comp ain't seeing it, nothing will play.

Yay, I got a warning because of my "Inappropriate Language" in this thread.

It sounds like it may be that your converter randomly died. One of my radioshacks did it to me so...

And what I meant by go load up EM is that it seems to auto detect your controller which cuts out the middle man of 3rd party controller detectors.

It works randomly for my USKOC, but works without failure on my PS1/2 controllers (as I said before). I'm sure it's not my bemani controller acting up, cause I can plug it into the PS2 right next to my comp and it works!

I'm convinced it's a USB problem but I never had to change anything for it to work when it first did...

You might just have to reconfigure the buttons. YOu said it works with other controllers? Hmmm...

Well even before you start XPadder, the computer should detect some kind of controller. GO in controle panel and then try the contrller settings in there. It's under the Game Controllers icon.

Also.... BePachi is actually quite good and for some odd reason, no matter what I do, niether EM or LR will run on my computer. Yes, I have some of the fonts. (off windows, didn't ry the pack yet, I'll give it a shot.), Yes I have aplocale set to Japan, yes everything's in the right folders. It just doens't work.

I even copied the entire set of LR folders from my other computer inwhich it DOES work and it STILL opens a black window and closes... SO....

Bepachi actually got a whole lot better than it used to be though and it plays rather well.

Morter, what converter are you using? I have a USKOC and converter and it works and all... but odd thing is I still get lag on stuff... like 14 miliseconds worth which I can still kind of play with but it's kind of odd at times. I'll try a different sim and see if I get any difference but it appears to do it outside the sim as well.

I'm also using Xpadder.

First I was using a Walmart converter then I switched to the Super Joybox Pro 3 but get pretty much the same lag. It's not very much, but it's still there... I don't know if it's 14 ms, but I know I have to set the time offset to about -14 ms so yeah.

I seem to have found an odd remedy for this:

My PS2 is on the same desk as my comp [because PS2 uses the monitor this comp is on], so I decided to see if my USKOC worked by plugging it in the PS2. After using it in the PS2 main menu for a few seconds, I plugged it into the comp and lo-and-behold it worked!

Ever since then, I've used the PS2 to seemingly "charge" my USKOC whenever my PC wouldn't initially detect it. After one or two attempts with the PS2, BAM, it would.

I'm using a generic PS2->USB controller from Lik-Sang that I got MANY years ago.
