Total Tokens: 10,102.49 Donate Tokens | I know. My LPT converter doesn't work at all for IIDX.
I'm thinking of getting a Superjoy Box 5 Pro. I heard that it has very little lag and stuff at least with one controller. I saw mixed reviews. It seems a lot of the earlier reviews said it worked great while the later ones said it didn't and had controller problems. I think the driver would fix that though. So should I go ahead and get it? I even saw a review about someone using it with IIDX. That really made me want to get it. So, any ideas?

I'm pretty sure if it's made by Mayflash (Super Joybox pro 3/5 and trio linker) , it will have no lag ..
So buy it ! :-D | |

Hm... I'm seeing really good things about the Super joybox pro... but... will it work with a US IIDX controller? I don't see why not but I just have to ask.
Does it also work with multiple controllers because I've heard people say that it works great with one, but horrible with more than one.

If i would like to use multiple controllers on the adapter , I would buy (2) Super Joybox3 Pros . lol , ya , like you said that one of the adapters with 2 ports(Super joyox 5 Pro) would work great, but the other one would work very bad.
I'm sure the uskoc will work..

He posted some ridiculous video of him playing Watch Out!! [a] (and not hitting any of the keys) to try and prove there was no turntable lag, and the lane was red the whole time because the turntable kept sticking. It was pretty funny.

I'm glad nobody ever listens to you or takes you seriously. YouTube - Radioshack 26-729 review/overview
The turntable isn't "fucking flawless." It never turns off, according to the video of you playing on Ruby, which... hmm, where did that go? You would get excess poors out the ass if you ever actually played the song instead of just spinning the turntable on occasion.

The turntable is flawless, I went from be-pachi to 10th style today and noticed no difference in tt responsiveness. Like I state in the video, if you own the adapter overclocking to 250hz made the adapter work like it should for me, by default it did not.
I've tried her on a few pcs and all good, sole for one brand new pc I built for a friend. I didn't have enough time to test why but the radioshack was acting like a regular shit adapter, even after 250hz. Maybe it was the drivers or something.

Poll rate and latency have nothing to do with it. I'm not talking about the amount of time between when you scratch the turntable and when it registers.
I'm talking about hitting the turntable, and instead of the input being 2-3 ms long like it is on the arcade and CS games, the turntable input is more like 40 ms long. This causes a ton of excess poors when you scratch, and makes the turntable lane bright with redness, making it harder to see fast scratches in songs like Checking You Out, Watch Out!!, etc.
The actual circuitry of a Beatmania IIDX controller does indeed send this signal for a very long time, and the only way to cancel it out is by programming whatever software you have, i.e. the arcade games or PS2 games, to ignore the signal after it has been recognized for 2 or 3 seconds.
When you increase the poll rate of your USB, you are increasing the number of times your USB is checked for a signal in a given amount of time, essentially reducing the amount of time it takes for your PC to receive this signal. This will in no way reduce the excessively long turntable signal that a IIDX controller sends naturally. You absolutely NEED to program that feature in the software to get the turntable to act the way it does on official Beatmania software.
As for the Radioshack adapters, well, they're all good. I have three different models, including the one you made a video on, and they're all great for reducing the amount of latency. It is physically impossible for it to be as fast of a response as it is for a PSX to parallel/LPT adapter, but for USB adapters, yes, they're the best I've found. However, a quicker response time does not solve the problem with the turntable completely.
