there was also some port for osx too, called aqua'n beats. it died mid-2004 http://aquan-beats.matrix.jp/
i have no desire to try to make it work again. i think it ran but couldn't load songs. no clue, i gave up on the piece of crap almost two years ago.

I try to NOT use Virtual PC cause the second it gets turned on I am subject to viruses and the such.
Macbeat looked promising

or yeah. wait for 4.0. | OSX 10.4 also has support for Boot Camp as long as you an intel chip inside.
You would probably want Parallels though.

If you're on a G4 or whatever though, yeah, there isn't much.

Boot Camp is another option, but that's only beta now (10.5 will have a finished product similar, supposedly). Aqua'n Beats works fine... Just read the post I have in the main simulators thread to get it going (you just have to manually create the directories, and they exist in a really funny spot).
Hopefully, I'll be able to hack Aqua'n Beats enough to allow controller input over USB and move the data directory somewhere a tad more standard... but we'll see.

Oh, and I have Aqua 'n' Beats running on this computer. To start, you need to make a directory in the main drive's root (Macintosh HD, or whatever you named it) called BMS_Debug. Inside there, make a folder called BMSMusic. This folder is where you'll put the simfiles. Also inside of the BMS_Debug folder, move the Scheme folder into there. I forget exactly where Scheme is originally, so I can't help there. You can place the application anywhere you please, though.
In other words, it should look something like this: Code: / (Macintosh HD)
|\_ BMS_Debug
| |
| |\_ BMSMusic
| | \_ OMG SONGS
| |
| |\_ Scheme
| | \_Default Scheme Hope that helped.
