JeffPaine, thank you so much for posting these! I say this not cause I need backgrounds for simfiles, but because I make AMV's and I've been searching ever since the Token system went down to find rips of these.

I got a couple questions though. When you say you updated certain files, what kind of changes do you make? Do you ever re-rip the videos for improved quality?

Also, I was looking for certian videos with Goli art animations like SOLID GOLD, fly away to india, and one or eight, but didn't find any. Are these animations separate from the videos or something, like the way the facial expression is a separate "layer" from the portrait in Vanessa? Im merely wondering if we can expect to see rips of those videos as well, or if its a separate system within the game that displays the images.

Sometimes when I update a video, it's because it's a higher resolution than the one I previously had. For a lot of videos though it's simply because it's from a newer source and in all likelihood the videos are identical (basically going from one AC version to another AC version you'll get a lot of these)

Makes sense. To me, the few missing Goli images aren't a big deal though, as IIDX as a whole already has such a variety of different footage, not to mention Gigs worth of it, that I can do without a couple of those pics. The whole "DoLL" series of videos has enough Goli art for my purposes.

As for the video quality, it is nice to have a bit larger resolution and I appreciate your efforts to update this. Trust me, when you are trying to make an AMV in 640x480 resolution, it will be really noticeable if you have other video sources in it that were rendered at a lower res like 320x240. Your quality of your end result video can only ever be as good as the quality of your source footage.

shogunviper and MdX MaxX are quite correct. The links, and even the site itself is definitely down. So is 4x4beat.com. He said a while ago the links would be moved, and I would really love these vids to be put back up.

Could someone (Jeff Paine) maybe put these vids in a torrent or something? Or even rapidshare or megaupload?
