Key Lock Problem...

I have ssrmax and whenever i try to hit 4 or more keys at the same time it locks and nothing is played. This only happens when I mix black and blue keys.

Examples on the default setup(z s x d c f v) of locks

z+s+f+v
z+s+d+f+v
x+c+d+f

and so on...

does this happen with anyone else.

oh and my computer is brand new.

I also notice that when I type and hit 4 or more of those keys it locks and doesn't type anything at all.

Any suggestions or is it something I have to deal with

That's just how your keyboard is. Try using an older one that is USB or Parallel and you might be able to get more than 2 keypresses registering.

A work-around is to set up the keys so no 2 keys are vertically next to each other (Such as D+C and F+V)

Most keyboards can't detect multiple keys in the same column being pressed simultaneously.
