Default My IIDX simfiles

I ripped these myself. Every song was ripped from the newest PS2 game, except SAMBA DE JANEIRO and the GOLD songs, of course. Unfortunately this means no Macho Gang [A14]. Everything else is there though.

- All audio files are compressed to ~150 Kbps Ogg Vorbis
- All 1-12 difficulties are present
- Songs with multiple keysound sets (5.1.1., Love is Dreaminess) are formatted to all be in one folder
- All titles, artists, and genres are romanized and 100% accurate right down to the capitalization and punctuation

Simfiles are Ogg files, so unless you decompress them to WAV you can only play them on Lunatic Rave, Endless Music, or Bepachi. Why would you use anything else, though? Anyway - e-motion, OVERDOSER, and Salamander Beat Crush mix are mistakenly identified as 5Key songs in LunaticRave and Endless Music - I have tried to fix this a hundred ways and cannot figure out how to solve it - some charts are not playable.

Another thing that may throw people off is that some songs such as LOVE IS DREAMINESS and OUTER LIMITS are not in their initial arcade style - if they debuted on a CS release, they're on a CS release. For example, LOVE IS DREAMINESS is in the 5th Style CS folder.

Also, the [A] charts for Outer Limits, Rugged Ash, Love is Dreaminess, new [A14] for Concertino in blue etc. etc. is all there - just no Macho Gang [A14]. I'll work on it. :P

I will be uploading them, by style, up to Sendspace for now. I would make a torrent, but my ISP (Comcast) will not allow me to seed torrents. Fucking sucks.

I'll post the links as I get them uploaded.

If anything is wrong with any file at all, please tell me.

EDIT: Filefront link: giud3cca Profile, giud3cca Details - FileFront.com

I haven't seen the charts for the IIDX versions of those songs, but could it be that those particular songs don't have notes in columns 6 or 7 (Which might cause the 'detected as 5-key' thing)?

I wonder if an invisible sound change note might make it work (Maybe add something like #00038:03 to the BMS itself).

I'll download your file packs... thank you for posting those

Fucking brilliant! They really don't have any notes in columns 6 or 7. You are basically awesome. I will post a fix for this immediately. Thanks.

Edit:
I think I supposedly added this invisible note... I put that line of code in right under #00002:whatever... no luck, still. But at least now I know the root of the problem.

Not a problem

And that reminds me... I think the newest version of BPM might not detect them properly either (too much code changed).

I'll fix that too

The newest BPM detects them fine.

This is the single greatest thing I have ever seen. Between clicking one song at a time on sherl0k's site and actually playing IIDX I was developing carpal tunnel in my 20's. Thanks!

I've experienced worse...Downloading each BMS and WAV file independently!

Of course, that was back in the 5-key days, when BMS only contained a low double-digit number of keysounds

Thanks alot!

I have a question though, when I play Go Beyond!! on hyper, the sound is really messed up and there is no bass when I play. I even put it on autoplay, but it does not sound right. Has anyone else noticed this?

Which simulator are you using? I'm using Endless Music and it works fine - I know there are issues with Bepachi Music though... and I don't think any other simulator works with Ogg Vorbis so...

Augh.

Upload these to Filefront please.

I'm getting a max speed of 60kbps where on FF I usually get 2.2Mbps+

Also the AC GOLD has exceeded usage :<

So yeah, Filefront, do it.

Also appreciated would be a pack of AC 1st-10th styles on FileFront.

Then you can put everything except two CS styles in another, so people would only have to do 2 downloads (or 3)

I use SSRMAX. That may be the problem, is endless music better than LR?

Endless Music is a newer version of LunaticRave that runs with a lot fewer errors.

SSRMAX doesn't work well, if at all, with .ogg files, which is the format my simfiles are in.

Right...but I converted everything to .wav before even attempting to play it, because, I knew SSRMAX, does not support .ogg. After the whole conversion process, that was when the problem happened, what's intersting though, is that the same EXACT thing happened with Sherl0k's rip of Go Beyond!!. The two files of Go Beyond!! sound identical. I don't know...any suggestions aside from switching simulators?

It may be a BGM:keysound ratio - if this is the case, I can just rip the BGM at a different volume. I'll mess around with that tonight.

I already know there are a lot of volume issues with the files, but I don't know how to use the #VOLWAV tag - tried with and without percentages, etc. - so it's hard to adjust the volume of the simfiles without changing the wave volume itself.
