Is there anyway that I can press more than 3 keys and have the computer register all of the key presses????, because if I press z,x,c,v, I on get judged on the z,x,c.
you're probably not going to ever be able to press 7 keys at once due to the way keyboards work, but you may want to invest in a better keyboard than what you have. Mine can do 4-5 keypresses depending on the rows/columns addressed in those keypresses, but some can do more. I hear the Saitek Eclipse II and Logitech G15/11 Keyboards are very good when it comes to simultaneous keypresses.
That's like saying you don't want to invest in a drumset for DrumMania. Half the fun comes from having an actual controller to play said game. It's worth the money.
Anyway, if your current keyboard can't press more than three keys, you're out of luck with that keyboard. So, you're better off getting a new keyboard (or better yet, an actual controller if you're going to invest that much).
Saitek Eclipse I keyboards can't press more than three keys, but Eclipse II's can. Logitech's gaming keyboards can handle more than three, and believe it not, same with Dell keyboards. O.O
But seriously, just get a controller. It may be a bit more expensive, but it's worth it... not to mention more fun.
7 keys on my Keyboard works fine.. It's a crappy Dell keyboard though.
The only problem is, my Beatmania experience is nowhere even close to the legitimate IIDX experience. Why?
well, it's because I assign my keys like so:
1 2 3
Z X C V
While the numbers are on the numpad side. No cramming fingers.
What keys jam really depends on your keyboard. I just got lucky.
The fact that you play on the keyboard means your "legitimate IIDX experience" is already gone -- even with the standard keyboard z-s-x-d-c-f-v setup. If you want a "legitimate" experience, play on an arcade cabinet, or get a controller.
I tried playing on the keyboard when I first started IIDX sims, but I went ahead and burned some money on an actual controller... more fun.

lol, yeah I know. I never had the legitimate experience. But with the z-s-x-d-c-f-v setup, at least it's 'closer'.
Of course, it's still a far stretch from actually having the controller. Problem is that it's a costly investment that I won't be making within the next 8 months.
The woes of a University student.
