Still get black screen problems with Lunatic Rave :\

The same thing happens with LR2; I open up config.exe and try to reload my song folder, but a black window pops up and closes. If I try to load the game, the same thing happens.

I have the Japanese fonts installed, regional settings set to Japanese, and non-unicode programs set to Japanese.

I just can't seem to fix this! I've tried changing config.exe/lunaticrave.exe's Program Compatibility to Windows 95/Windows 2000/etc. And I've tried changing LR font to Batang.

I must've reinstalled LR at least 5 times by now, with no luck...

try changing all your things in the regional settings option in control panel to japanese?

change fonts into "batang"?

i forgot most, but the thread at that Zarcom made has helped me a lot . read the whole entire thing and you'll get it.


By the way, in LR2, does anyone know how to stop auto playing the music using the default keys? I don't know how to customize the numbers and things, only the keys you use to play. Someone help please, thanks.

Try using AppLocale to run the game

Check your paths for the bms files. I think you have to individually set each path, so for example, say you have IIDX RED, and DD folders
.\_songs\DD
.\_songs\IIDX RED
then in those folders are the song folders. That helped me.

if everything still doesnt work,just give up on lunatic rave and use some other simulator like be-pachi man :P
i too have that lame prob and nothing seems to work to solve it
