Strange Lunatic Rave 2 Glitch

I got past all the hurdles of actually installing LR2 and all that was well and good, hooked up my controller, got my library imported, and played a couple songs, no problem. Then I installed the Lunatic Troopers skin and now whenever I play a song, the program holds down key #6 automatically. At least, I think it's key #6. Black key, furthest from the turntable.

That's it. No other keys, just that one. So I can't pass songs. When I back out of the song, the key's still being held down, so it selects the song again. At first I though the key was sticking on my KOC, but I unplugged it and tried with the computer keyboard. Same deal. I went as far as going into key config and disabling whichever buttons activate key #6. Same deal.

So finally, I delete all the LR2 data except for my song library and install it again. This time I use just one song as a test, as maybe my song library screwed it up somehow. Nope. What's strange is that I then open up notepad, so I can figure out which key is stuck on my keyboard so I can disable it, but there's nothing that's being held down. I've got no idea what's going on or how to fix it. Help would be appreciated.

I had this same problem, a restart fixed it but I'm not sure how to replicate it. Same key as well. I'm using a MIDI controller to play, so I assumed it had something to do with that but when I booted up Reason and played it seemed fine. Only LR2 was messing up. I'm interested in an answer as well.

Well, I cleared out all the data and reinstalled, and it worked fine. So, I guess a restart and re-install is the solution here. Maybe it's dust somewhere. I don't know.

Another thing that worked for me, is to go into controller config in the control pannel, and switch you controller type to button mode.

go open config controls and press F2 and it wipes all the entered key mappings so you will have to enter in everything again besides the basics like enter and esc in regards to the keyboard. I had some conflicts going on with pressing a keyboard key i assigned to one in-game key and pressing F2 to delete them all and enter them in fixed it all up.
