Default Superjoy USB to US Beatmania turntable issue

Yes, ahem, me and my Smartjoy PS2 USB adapter seem to be having a bit of an issue with the US Beatmania controller. You see, the computer seems to interpret a turntable spin longer than usual with a disturbing amount of sensitivity to it, as well as said delay preventing rapid scratching. So, I was wondering if there was anything that could be done to fix this rather large problem as the CS Beatmanias do.

What program are you using?

I've had this problem in SSRMax, but not in Lunatic Rave.

Same problem. Thus far I have used SSRMAX and Be-Pachi, same problem for both things, so i assume its not the program but the hardware. I'm using a SmartJoy and an imported IIDX controller. I already upped my USB polling rates, i have no clue what to do now...

That's the way the controller is specifically designed to operate. (I've done a little research on this myself.)

The reason that it's this way is to prevent people from repeatedly scratching the same way. In the CS game, it's required that you alternate the direction to scratch in quick succession. Some programs handle both directions on the axis as the same button (WRONG!). Whenever possible, try to use a simulator's built-in joystick support. If that is not possible, or it does not behave properly, try and find a joystick-to-keyboard program that allows you to map both directions of an axis to different keys.
