I did manage to get Aqua'n Beats set up (no clue on MacBeat Carbon... yet, and Aqua'n Beats seems newer), so if you need help there, let me know--I'll walk you through what I can. Help translating the documentation included with Aqua'n Beats would be useful--so far, I've been forced to use the not-terribly-reliable Babelfish, and then figure out what the heck their messy English means (assuming Babelfish translates the page and doesn't give an error). Also, I'd *really* like to get into the source code and change that horrid location for putting the simfiles... Shouldn't be hard, but again, just whenever I have time... Maybe we can come up with an English-localized copy of Aqua'n Beats (for those who care, like me).

Total Tokens: 166.87 Donate Tokens | I'm having a problem with SSRMAX. When I open SSRMAX.exe, a large window (so large that it goes offscreen) pops up where I can change game options. From what I understand, this is normal. However when I move the window as high as it goes I can see three buttons (can't read what they say because the text is offscreen). The one on the left doesn't seem to do anything, one on the right closes it, and the middle one starts one of the other SSR .exe's. But as soon as any of them start, they crash. What am I doing wrong?

Figuring out how to make it run was a pain and a half, but it seems to have been almost worth the trouble.

I haven't tried LunaticRave though... I'm trying out BPM; but I've been using BemaniaDX... which has lately been giving me some background-sound-offbeat problems.

The sync seems to be okay on most files I played and it's not THAT hard to set up, could be easier though. Thats why I'm thinking 1,5 or 2 stars out of 5.
If any coder cares, please work with the code, it's open source after all.
