Total Tokens: 8,904.18 Donate Tokens | Will the JPKOC work FOR SURE? So I have my USKOC and the super joybox and it works for the most part... but there's still a LITTLE bit of lag. Not too bad when you're playing songs with not too many notes, but you can really feel it when playing harder songs.... I know there's lag, but I don't know if it's this much. It actually happens on my joybox and my game-on one.
Now my question is if I get a JPKOC, will that still be there or will it improve? I heard a lot about the USKOC's circuitry not being as good so that's why it may lag just a bit. If I spend 40+ on a JPKOC, I'd like to know that it will work.
I can try that polling rate thing for this one that and see if I get a change, but yeah. Thanks in advance.

Uh.... I'll try the hertz thing first.
I can't find a radio shack one....
And you say that you can ... wait....
When you say it works perfectly, is it timing like you get when playing on the PS2? (or even better than that)

It won't damage your USB ports; it'll just consume more power and battery life if you're on a laptop.

if you're running xp sp2 or 3, you may get an error about usbport.sys. just do a search for that error and you'll find someone linking to a download of their working usbport.sys. i don't have time to look for it now, but that's what i had to do to get mine working. also, you don't need to be in safe mode to use the tool.

Odd thing happened. I just hooked it up and got no lag on Be-Pachi. Well there may have been a little, but I KNOW it was VERY close to the PS2version. I don't know how, I can just feel it when I play. I use a lot of MIDI controles for audio production so I'm familure with latancy issues and stuff. I don't think I"ll need a JPKOC. I'll try the polling rate thing though and see if I can improve it. Thanks.

(i've got some midi controllers too, which you might be able to see in the video i posted in the other thread, heh)
