Default Your perferred button layout for iidx simulator.

I NEVER thought i would post here but im playing be-pachi music at my friends place and kinda was trying to find a good button layout for it. I have gave up on trying to scratch and have gone with the following layout for keys 1-7

1. A
2. W
3. D
4. O
5. "."
6. "["
7. "Shift"

Was wondering what your button layout is you use. Ps i'm usually able to do 11s and some 12s on an asc for ps2. Sorry if there is a thread similar to this.

although it's better to use an PS2 controller to serial adapter if that's an option, because unless you have a keyboard with n-key rollover, you'll get problems with complex chords. Not to mention pressing shift is ridiculously easy compared to actually scratching

I use the same layout as with the online rhythm games I play:

QWE[space]IOP
Turntable: { (though if both P and { are pressed, the keyboard would block all other key inputs, so I just use auto-scratch on higher-level songs)

Of course, this mean I won't be able to transfer most of my skills to an actual beatmania controller when playing on an IIDX machine.

i'm sure most of you won't believe until you see...but I got a bit experimental and I am now using my Street Fighter IV arcade stick as my IIDX controller...I have it on autoscratch because I find it hard to hit the stick on time!

time for a shit diagram!
