Okay, looks excellent. It would be helpful if you could make an English version of your site though.

What types of songfiles does FeelingPomu use? BMS? I've never tried this before (only Step'n Music) but this looks better. How can I get started?

tekkie, you'll find this thread helpful for setting up Feeling PoMu: [Teaching] Feeling pomu - Setup

And yes, the songfiles are BMS - the program will work with both keysounded and non-, but keysounded songs are much more fun to play. Once you get your hands on some of those, you'll never go back to SnM. I have had the hardest time finding keysounded BMS files for PoMu, but there's a couple in the thread I linked above (they're also reposted in the BMS request thread, http://www.bemanistyle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2665).

On this computer, my controller works fine, but on another computer it doesn't respond at all even though it inputs fine in Step'n Music. what could be causing this?

Sanae-chan, why don't you make your program open source ?

Stepmania is well known and has become what it is because its an open source project. People can help to improve it, send suggestion, or even join the programming team.

If you release your program open source under the GPL license (for example) on sourceforge, you can start a community and people all over the world could help you to develop this project, like making new skin, translate the program, or program it to support several language at once. understand how it works, make their own characters, and a lot of other things

Stepmania is good working example, and more and more games are released open source, so the community can help. I know I would help if Feeling Pomu was open source.

Maybe you have already thought about that. in that case i'd like to know why you didn't choose to go open source.

You can PM me if you want to discuss about all the open source thing, if you do not how exactly how it works or if you have any question. like "how people can help ?" "will they messed up all my code? " ...

anyway, great job so far. feeling pomu is really promissing.

You know Feeling Pomu is like 4-5 years old, and sanae-chan is just translating it so more people will be able to use it, right?

My last question for now is, how do you change the speed of the notes? (Speed modifiers?)

Well, when the main screen appears:

You select the second option

Then...:

The option screen appears where you can change the speed and such.

This looks nifty... I will have to check it out when I get home from the beach. Also I see the Sakura character in one of the screenshots...how cute! ^_^
