Well, I got the game to work! Everything is fine except two things.

A) The mapping is all wrong and I don't know how to change it. I'm using a mini 2 controller via USB-PS2 adapter. The buttons all work, but some of them are in the wrong spot.

B) Is there a way to change speed in songs without having to go to the main menu? I tried double yellows and it wasn't there, so I just figure it hasn't been implemented or something.

I'm using the 0.7701 [Full] download with the updated (.7803) file that was above it on the main site.

Ok, I figured out how to change the mapping and how to get to the option menu from in game, but I can't figure out what to map to what. I tried putting each button from the controller (used Control Panel -> game controllers to figure that out) mapped to what I thought was the right keystroke and none of the buttons matched at all.

If anyone already has this thing worked out and can just copy/paste that section of their .pad file, that'd be great. Trying to map everything is making my head hurt.

(btw I am using the carnival skin, so it's 13.pad)

Edit - Never mind on this problem! Found a working one in Second.pad! Now if there's a way to get Hi-Speed 5 and 6 in here, I'll be the happiest kid ever.

@McGains: I wish I can help you, but since my simulation computer hates Feeling PoMu, I can't help with that. Lets hope people like Chao Freak comes back. ^^;

P.S. @ NicoNico video, there are EX video autoplays for Feeling PoMu's Colorfull Canvas songs.

(I still love Akiba Pop and H.H.P. :P And Chaos's character is SOO cool! X3)

If you want to change the speed, and not go into the options at the title screen, press the r button on your keyboard to go into options right befor your song. Also, for H.H.P. lovers, I found something you might like. I love it.

The colorful canvas thing is a pack on its own. To download the actual simulator, you have to go to the original site.
