why is popn simulation so dead

stepmania is a badass pretty much perfect arcade translation. why is no one that dedicated to popn? if i knew how to do that kind of crap i would help, its dissapointing though =(

Either that, or nobody wants to make a simfile with 9 lines filled with keysounds. :s

There is no Taiko simulation and thats just as simple as DDR, maybe even simpler. No keysounds either.

9-lines playing has too much key combinations that a keyboard can't handle.
At least it's my reason. If you can give me a really good setup i may play it.

well yeah obviously using a keyboard wouldnt be optimal but ive done it with stepnmusic. but you could do something like, use your ASC plugged into a USB converter with a popn sim on ur PC

People don't use simulators after they dish out $200-$400 for an ASC.

I don't think popn simulation works really well, it's like beatmania simulation, it really isn't as fun as the real thing.

Honestly, it's like playing a different game, it's not as fun.

beatmania simulation is better now............ have many simulators.
popn simulation ..............

i think feeling pomu is a best simulator
- it support keysound.(but i don't have 9keys keysounded songs , 7keys only)
- it has fadeout after press a button, don't like step'n music that have 1 frame only
- it has many settings, it can double and triple notes, how about step'n music!?

but feeling pomu skins are *.bmp only, it can't have a good output.
it does't like ssrmax(*.tga) .........but step'n music is *.gif and *.png only....

I just know step'n music and feeling pomu
is there any new simulators that i don't know!???

That's a TnT-style game and not a simulator.

I would be nice to have PnM simulation, but seeing how bad IIDX simulation is, I would never get myself to play that seriously.
