For those who are insterested there has been severely and heavy updates to DigiBand, and plans for a commercial version are on their way.

Those interested in being contracted to make videos and music please e-mail me or visit our project website.

I wasn't able to start up DigiBand on my computer.

DigiBand gives me the 'Lunatic Rave' error... that is, after double-clicking the EXE and switching to full-screen mode, it quickly switches back and mysteriously exits without any error message.

So, I listened to the various jazzy mp3's in the theme folder. Very kewl songs (especially the title mp3). My kind of music

sorry.... digiband at this time does have moderately high minimum requirements. The current minimum is at 1.5GHZ CPU and a ATI or nVidia video card with 64MB memory. If it's crashing on you, please do the following: check stdout.txt and stderr.txt in the digiband folder, then e-mail me the contents with your computers specs (CPU speed, video card type, and memory). Other wise digiband lately will run pretty solid on most computers that meet the minimum. That is if you're not throwing in your current song directoy in digibands directory.... I'm not sure what this will do as I've never tested an untamed song directory.

The error messages are as odd as the error itself I think

A 'program performed an illegal operation' message never displays, so maybe it's not a true crash.

The song folder i used was the one created by DigiBand's installer, so I only have the 2 songs included.

Code:
stdout.txt

Checking 0 devices:
Code:
stderr.txt

Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

Also, my computer has a 2.0GHz Celeron, 512 MB RAM, and no real video card.

"Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)"

and "no real video card"

means your video card can't handle digiband...

sorry....

Go to options and turn off the autoplay for guitar. If you want to turn off the drums complettely you can do that as well.

DrumMIDI doesn't play DTX files, as it only has 6 lines a la DM.
DTXMania, DMX and Digiband are the only sims that support DTX.

I have two questions about DTXMania:

1. How do I change between difficulty levels on the main screen? I tried basically every key on the keyboard, and it didn't work (and the song had multiple difficulty levels).

2. Would you recommend the "PC Crazy Drum King Controller" (shown here) for DTXMania? I'm not that serious of a player right now, but I probably would play it a lot once I got the controller.

I hope for a quick response.
