Default GH Drum Controller: Wii to PC

Here's one for ya. I have a Guitar Hero drum controller for Wii, and I am trying to get it to work on my PC, so I can use it for DTXMania. I just got a USB to MIDI cable in the mail today, so I tried using that. DTXMania would not respond to it. Has anyone gotten this to work before, and is there any step I'm missing?

guitar hero drums only have midi in - you'll need to use another method for the wii drums. (I use ps2 guitar hero drums so can't help here)

Hang on, I'm sure that Guitar Hero Drums connect to the Wii wirelessly via Bluetooth, just like any other Wii controller?

Your best bet would be to do some research into GlovePIE if this is the case.

There are people who have got normal Wiimotes working using GlovePIE.

WiiLi.org Wii Linux - GlovePIE:GlovePIE
WiiLi.org GlovePIE Wii-Mote Scripts

I don't know how the drum connection differs, but since they have the wii guitar working, the drums shouldn't be too much different... (I'm curious about getting this working now too.)
