Increasing sensitivy of the drums? So I'm pretty new to DrumMania as a whole; I just bought the red Topway drums at the Otakon anime convention, uh, yesterday actually. It's all nice and fun (I got GuitarFreaks V3 and DrumMania V3. Good choice?), but I also wanted to try playing the custom tracks on the computer. I have a Radioshack Playstation2-to-USB adapter that's worked very well, and I got DTXMania. Unfortunately, GDAmania seems to be down, so I'm just trying to find files here and there (thanks other thread in this section!).
The program runs fine, but many times my hits on the drums do not register. This also happens when testing the buttons in the GamePad properties in the Windows control panel. I assume this might be because of how quickly the "buttons" are being pushed and released, so that it doesn't register the really quick presses you usually do when hitting the drums. The drums work fine on the PS2, so I don't think it's necessarily the drumset not working correctly. I was wondering if there is a way to increase the sensitivity of the drums, preferrable through some options on the computer? I don't know if it's something I'd have to do with GamePad drivers or something I can modify in DTXMania.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
