Default beatmania controller with O2Jam.

I really hope I can use the beatmania IIDX controller for O2Jam. I have a PS2 to USB adapter so it should work, but I don't know. I do know that it would make it a lot easier. What do you guys think?

Also, the only thing I have against O2Jam is the guide lines aren't there and that can make things a bit more confusing. Oh well.

Well you can set and change the keys, but it doen'st do anything when you press buttons on the controller.

Are you using Joy2Key, to have the controller button presses register as key presses?

What's that? Did that come with the program? I'll try to look it up.

Um.. Ok, I can't find it anywhere for download. The only thing I found was JoyToKey. That works just fine but there's one problem.
When I hold a note, it continuously gets pressed and doesn't register as a hold. How do you fix that?

I'm using JoyToKey with the Super Dual Box Pro PS2 to USB converter.

I think it's something in the Game Controller settings, but I'm not sure.

K. Thanks. Hm, it seems that JoyToKey and Joy2Key are the exact same things. I'll just have to figure out what's up with that holding problem. But that seems like a problem you'd have with any controller. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know if it'll work with O2Jam, but I think it'll probably work with O2Mania.

Actually, it does work with O2Jam. But now I have come across another problem. It seems that the holding problem onnly happens when one of two thins accurs.

1. The playstation controller drivers are installed. (I uninstalled them.)

2. When both controllers are in the ports. That could be a problem when I wanna use two PS2 controllers.

I fear that I may have to get another USB2PS2 controller.

Did you ever ONCE bother looking on the e-games forums for O2Jam? They have everything you need to get a PS2 IIDX controller working on O2Jam.

Yeah, about that. I think I posted something on this over there. But it doesn't matter anymore because sadly... I lost the converter. If I have to get a new one, could anyone suggest what type of PS2 to USB converter to get or does it really matter?

Well from what I've heard the EMS ps2 to usb adapter works very well for DDR pads, and it has the highest reviews out of any adapter. So look for one on ebay or some online store. Lik-sang would of been great but as we all know they're gone now so Google will be your friend now.

Ok, I'm thinking of ordering this. I think this is the right one. I just want to make sure. The reviews look good. What do you guys think?
